‎A Nigerian man’s post about his encounter while boarding a bus has gone viral online, recalling the aftermath.

‎In a post on his X handle, @Chiomaforkeeps, the man disclosed that the incident, which unfolded in 2025, involved two individuals purchasing two bottles of water at a checkpoint.

‎Man Shares Encounter

According to the X user, the teenager ran to catch up with the bus as the individuals attempted to pull out money from their pockets.

‎However, he threw ₦500 to the teenager, while an unexpected situation ensued.

‎”The little boy was really running hard to catch up , I had 500 naira cash on hand so I threw it out for him , the guy picked it and the one that got the water also saw me throwing the money”, He added.

Unexpected Situation Unfolds

However, after requesting a refund, one of the individuals who purchased a bottle of water refused.

As a result, he handed his phone to a course mate beside him, grabbed the guy, and eventually got his refund.

“I gave my phone to my coursemate beside me, I was ready to go down with this guy , grabbed him inside the bus I really wan deck am, until he gave me the money” He stated, recounting how the situation unfolded.
