“We don’t know the hospital”- Anthony Joshua’s uncle shares heartbreaking update following car crash
Adedamola Joshua, brother of former heavyweight champion, Anthony Joshua, has shared an update following the car crash involving the boxer.
It would be recalled that Anthony Joshua was involved in a car accident in Ogun state on December 29, 2025 and sustained minor injuries.
While two of his close friends and team members, Sina Ghami and Latif Ayodele, tragically lost their lives.
Anthony Joshua’s Brother Shares Update Following Car Crash
During an interview with BBC News, Adedamola Joshua disclosed that the accident occurred while the boxer was traveling to his hometown.
Speaking about the accident, he described the incident as sad news to the family and disclosed that Anthony Joshua arrived in Nigeria to celebrate the festive season with them.
According to Adedamola Joseph, the family is unaware of the hospital where the boxer was taken.
”He always come down whenever there is festivity to stay with us. We don’t know the actual hospital that he has been taken to. We’ve gone round all hospitals in Sagamu”, He stated.
According to Adedamola Joshua, the retired DIG (Deputy Inspector General) of police reached out to him via a phone call, informing him about the tragic incident.
Details Of The Conversation
Sharing details about the phone conversation, he stated, “They said they wanted to know the person in the family they could contact, so I introduced my brother, Oye Joshua”.
