According to the lady, her sister’s terrifying ordeal began during her routine trip to gather firewood.
She was suddenly bitten by a snake, and despite the excruciating pain, she managed to tie the affected limb to slow the venom’s spread.
The trek back home took over an hour, leaving the family in shock at her condition.
Traditional Remedies
Upon returning home, her family administered traditional remedies that reportedly saved her life.
Treatments included the application of red oil, kerosene, and bitter kola. These methods, while unconventional, were credited with helping her recover from the life-threatening bites.

The lady revealed that her father had long advocated for keeping bitter kola in the four corners of the house.
He believed that this practice would deter snakes from entering the home.
“My father always claimed that the presence of bitter kola would scare snakes away,” she partly said in her TikTok video.
