“We are here to empower women” — Cubana Chiefpriest donates ₦40 million worth of makeup kits

Imo State women have received a boost in entrepreneurship after popular entertainer and businessman Cubana Chiefpriest distributed 250 boxes of makeup kits, valued at ₦40 million, through the City Boy Movement.
The initiative, held in Owerri on Friday, aimed to empower women with tools to start or expand their small businesses, particularly in the beauty and cosmetics sector.
Empowering women through entrepreneurship
Speaking at the event, Cubana Chiefpriest said, “We are here to empower women. These makeup kits are not just gifts—they are a means for these women to create sustainable businesses, support their families, and achieve financial independence.”
The gesture attracted over 250 women from various communities in Imo State, who expressed gratitude for the opportunity to receive quality tools for their trade.
Many participants shared their excitement at the prospect of using the kits to generate income and grow their personal brands in the beauty industry.
City Boy Movement’s community impact
“This initiative is part of our continuous effort through the City Boy Movement to uplift communities, support women, and create opportunities for economic growth,” he added.
This follows previous philanthropic efforts by Cubana Chiefpriest, who has over the years supported youth and women empowerment projects across Nigeria.
In 2022, he launched a similar programme in Lagos, providing business kits and mentorship for aspiring female entrepreneurs, which drew national attention and praise.
