Wahala as gateman steals 14 phones on first day, disappears

There was drama after a newly hired gateman allegedly stole 14 phones on his very first day of work at a charging spot in Mowe, Ogun State.

The incident was reported on the video-sharing platform by a netizen identified as @Thrift vendor in Mowe/Ibafo.

Gateman disappears with phones

According to the narrator, the incident happened three years ago when the gateman took advantage of customers who had come to charge their phones. He reportedly removed all SIM cards before fleeing with the devices.

The situation, described as both shocking and bizarre, left victims stranded and confused over the sudden disappearance of their phones.

When asked if the suspect was ever caught, the narrator said he was not apprehended, adding that reports later surfaced that he lost his life while trying to escape, though this claim remains unverified.
