A heartwarming story has gone viral after Nigerian businessman Stephen Ozioko fulfilled his commitment to the Igbo apprenticeship system by settling five of his apprentices after six years of service.

The apprentices, often referred to as nwaboy, were each given substantial start-up capital to begin their own independent businesses.

According to details shared online, the first and second apprentices received ₦20 million each, the third got ₦21 million, the fourth ₦22 million, while the fifth was settled with ₦23 million.

The gesture, which totals more than ₦100 million, has drawn widespread praise on social media, with many hailing it as a strong example of mentorship, loyalty, and sustainable wealth creation through structured apprenticeship.
