VeryDarkMan calls out APC over stranded women in Abuja after campaign, gives $1,000 support

Social media activist VeryDarkMan has shared his experience after encountering a group of elderly women dressed in All Progressives Congress (APC) campaign attire during a recent political ahead of 2027 elections.
Taking to his Instagram page, he revealed that he was surprised by the number of women present at the scene and decided to ask why they were supporting the party despite their condition.
“This APC you people are campaigning for, why are you supporting them, because una plenty come,” he said while speaking to them.
The women reportedly told him they were promised empowerment and support for attending the campaign activities, but things did not turn out as expected, leaving them stranded without transport fare.
VeryDarkMan said he was moved by their situation and decided to assist them on the spot.
He explained that he gave each of the women $100, amounting to about $1,000 in total, noting that many of them were mothers with responsibilities at home, including school fees and family needs.
“APC, if una make the country good, you won’t need to be doing campaign as a sitting government. You packed these women from different states and gave them APC cloth to wear,” he said.
He further criticised the state of insecurity and economic hardship in the country, alleging that many rural women who once relied on farming can no longer sustain themselves and are now being mobilised for political campaigns.
The incident has since sparked conversations online, with many Nigerians reacting to both his intervention and his comments about the political system.
