Verydarkman addresses critics over Harrison Gwamnishu’s arrest

Social media commentator Verydarkman has responded to criticisms following the arrest of activist Harrison Gwamnishu, clarifying why he alerted authorities and addressing claims that his actions were driven by jealousy.
It would be recalled that eyes of scrutiny had turned on the activist, after the family of the kidnapped Edo couple accused him of ransom theft.

Verydarkman speaks
He explained that he has known Gwamnishu for years and believes the activist struggles with recurring setbacks, often linked to financial issues. According to him, each time Gwamnishu gains momentum, controversy seems to pull him back.
Verydarkman said he contacted the police after watching a video in which Gwamnishu dismissed the possibility of wrongdoing.

He stated that the comments in the video prompted him to report the matter, insisting that if Gwamnishu had nothing to hide, authorities would verify his innocence and release him.
VDM suggests Harrison’s guilt
He noted that the continued detention of the activist is, in his view, an indication that the claims against him may have substance.
His words in part …
“I’ve known Harrison for a long time. Harrison has a problem but he’s a good guy. The solution is that he needs cleansing. Because anytime he is going up, bad things happen and he comes down again. And it’s is always money related. I guess that people think Verydarkman is jealous because I initiated the call. I did that because when I watched the video he said something like ‘they would have reported to the police if he did anything wrong.’ I was gaslighted because I know what I know, so I called the police and reported that they should pick him up. If he’s the one saying the truth they should release him. But guess what, they haven’t released him because he’s not the one saying the truth.”
