A Nigerian man serving in the United States military has stirred controversy online following remarks he made about recent U.S. military actions in both Iran and Nigeria.
In a post shared on his social media page, the soldier reacted to continued U.S. attacks on the Islamic Republic of Iran, carried out under the administration of U.S. President Donald Trump.

According to post circulating online, the soldier described the U.S. military action in Sokoto State, Nigeria, as a “Christmas gift” from the U.S. president.
@SgtShow01, in a post on his X page, wrote: “Christmas gift in Nigeria… Ramadan gift in Iran…”
He also referred to the attacks on Iran as a “Ramadan gift,” adding that he considered the president to be a very generous person.
He said: “POTUS is very magnanimous.”
