“Where is this money coming from?”: Man refuses to help as son battles mental health crisis

A 16-year-old boy in a local community is reportedly struggling with a severe mental health crisis, and many believe his father could be the only person who can help.

Last year, the boy captured the attention of his neighborhood after gaining admission into a university.

A few months later, he stunned residents by buying his mother a brand-new ladies’ bicycle and renovating her small shop, filling it with new stock. His generosity quickly became the talk of the street.

Family Tensions Rise Over Financial Success

Despite the boy’s success, his father questioned the source of his money. “Where is this money coming from?” he reportedly asked.

The boy explained that he earned it through Forex and cryptocurrency trading, but his father refused to believe him.

The father went as far as forbidding the bike from entering their home.

This decision caused a rift in the family, with his mother accusing him of jealousy and attempting to block their son’s progress. The father remained silent but firm in his stance.

Crisis Escalates, Father Still Refuses

Two weeks ago, the boy’s behaviour reportedly became erratic, alarming the family and neighbours.

Concerned for his wellbeing, he was taken to a spiritual centre where the caretakers insisted the father must be present to perform crucial rites.

The father, however, refused to attend. Community members have since criticised him, calling him a “bad father” for not supporting his son during a time of crisis.
