A Law graduate of the University of Lagos (UNILAG) has tragically passed away just a day after her convocation ceremony, leaving friends, family in shock.
The heartbreaking news was shared on X (formerly Twitter) by @plantcodesss.
The graduate was reportedly part of the University of Lagos graduating set of 2023.

The University of Lagos held its 2024/2025 convocation ceremony for graduates on Tuesday, January 20, 2026, at the school premises.
The event saw students celebrating years of hard work and dedication before moving on to the next chapter of their lives.
Alleged Late Graduate’s Journey
@plantcodesss recalled how the late graduate had inspired others, even during challenging times.
She mentioned that her friend’s sister, Evidence, had always been supportive and had hoped for the graduate’s recovery after seeing her in a difficult condition in the past.

“You did your convocation yesterday and today you’re no more. You deserve to be celebrated and you will be. My sister, Evidence was always rooting for you and after seeing you in that miserable condition the last time, I hoped you’d get better. I know you’re smiling from where you are because ‘UNILAG didn’t end you.’ You ended UNILAG, in joy.”
