UK-based Nigerian woman tears up as boyfriend dumps her for Zimbabwean lady
A Nigerian woman living in the United Kingdom has gone viral after sharing an emotional video in which she lamented being dumped by her Nigerian boyfriend for a Zimbabwean woman.
The woman, preciousonyegu1 took to her TikTok page to share this.
Nigerian woman calls out Zimbabwean ladies
In the clip, she tearfully expressed her frustration and heartbreak, questioning what she described as growing competition between Zimbabwean and Nigerian women over relationships with Nigerian men abroad.
She said she could not understand why a Zimbabwean woman would take interest in her partner when, according to her, there are men from her own country to date.
Reason for her relationship crash
Visibly distressed, she revealed that her boyfriend ended their relationship because he preferred the Zimbabwean lady, claiming he was attracted to her physical features. The Nigerian woman said she felt deeply hurt, adding that she is worried because she is approaching menopause and feels time is no longer on her side.

“Zimbabwean ladies, what’s this competition between you and Nigerian ladies over own prosperity, our own men. Don’t you have men in your country? My boyfriend left me in the UK over a Zimbabwean lady just because I don’t have big nyash and front… I’m really frustrated right now cause I’m nearing menopause. Leave our men alone.”
