Osimhen ends Juventus comeback, sends Galatasaray to UCL last 16

Juventus produced a spirited comeback with 10 men but were eliminated from the UEFA Champions League after a 3-2 defeat to Galatasaray, losing 7-5 on aggregate.
Trailing 5-2 from the first leg in Istanbul, the Bianconeri needed a near-perfect performance in Turin. They found momentum despite a lengthy injury list and suspensions, but ultimately fell short in extra time.
Juve rally despite red card
Juventus created early chances through Federico Gatti and Teun Koopmeiners, while goalkeeper Mattia Perin denied Victor Osimhen at close range.
The breakthrough came when Lucas Torreira fouled Khephren Thuram in the area, allowing Manuel Locatelli to convert from the spot and reduce the aggregate deficit.
Juventus’ task became harder when Lloyd Kelly was sent off early in the second half after a VAR review upgraded his challenge on Baris Alper Yilmaz to a straight red card.

Despite the numerical disadvantage, Gatti tapped in from a Pierre Kalulu cross before Weston McKennie headed home to level the tie at 5-5 on aggregate and force extra time.
Osimhen delivers decisive blow
Juventus pushed for a fourth goal but were punished in extra time. Gatti slipped while attempting to intercept a pass from Baris Alper Yilmaz, allowing Osimhen to drive a low finish through Perin’s legs to restore Galatasaray’s aggregate lead.
Late on, Wilfried Singo released both Osimhen and Yilmaz behind the defence, with Yilmaz finishing past Perin to confirm a 7-5 aggregate victory.
The result sends Galatasaray into the last 16, while Juventus’ European campaign ends despite a determined fightback lasting more than an hour with 10 men.
