In the video, the man expressed frustration over what he perceives as one-sided expectations in relationships.

“So if I get you a gift and we have sex, you’ve paid me back. But if you get me a gift, I’m supposed to reciprocate by getting you a gift, abi?” he asked.

He added: “When it is my birthday, I will take you out and buy you stuff. And when it’s also your birthday, I’ll still take you out and buy you stuff. I’m supposed to do more than what your ex did for you in your last relationship. But if I told you how my ex cooked and cleaned for me, you’ll tell me that you’re not my ex and my ex acted like a slave.”

The man further expressed frustration over financial expectations for dates and visits

“I’m supposed to send you transport if you’re coming to my place, but if I’m coming over to your house, nobody’s talking about transport. And I’m still supposed to buy you something while coming. If I want us to go out on a date, I’m supposed to paying for the dates, but when you want us to go out on a date, I’m still supposed to pay for the dates. U see all these girls maths ehn.
