Turkish giants target Arokodare loan move from Wolves

Galatasaray and Fenerbahçe are set to compete for the signature of Nigerian striker Tolu Arokodare ahead of the summer transfer window, as both clubs look to bolster their attacks.
According to reports, the Istanbul rivals are exploring a potential loan deal for the forward, who only joined Wolverhampton Wanderers from KRC Genk last summer.
Despite the recent move, Arokodare’s future has come under criticism following Wolves’ difficult campaign.
Relegation pressure driving exit talk
Wolves are currently rooted to the bottom of the Premier League table, with relegation to the Championship appearing increasingly inevitable.

That downturn has triggered internal reassessment, with several players, including Arokodare now linked with temporary exits to maintain competitive sharpness.
From a business standpoint, a loan move allows the player to retain market value while gaining consistent minutes in a less volatile environment.
Three-way Turkish interest emerges
In addition to Galatasaray and Fenerbahçe, Beşiktaş have also been credited with interest, creating a three-way domestic battle among Turkey’s elite clubs.
Transfer expert Ekrem Konur indicates that all three sides are monitoring the situation of the player closely, with initial discussions expected to accelerate once the transfer window opens.
Arokodare remains under contract at Wolves until 2029, placing the English club in a strong negotiating position despite their league struggles.
However, a loan deal appears the most realistic short-term solution for all parties.
