“She supported Tinubu who has held Lagos hostage for 20 yrs” — Toyin Abraham bashed over movie role in Gangs of Lagos
Popular Nollywood actress, Toyin Abraham continues to face backlashes over her support for Tinubu with respect to her role in the latest movie, Gangs of Lagos.
It would be recalled that during the 2023 presidential elections, the actress unapologetically supported the president-elect, Bola Ahmed Tinubu and has since been ridiculed for it.
A Twitter user identified as Adetutu Balogun pointed out that Toyin Abraham played the role of a politician that fought tirelessly for the freedom of the oppressed. However, in reality, she stands against the character portrayed in the Gang of Lagos by supporting the APC party.
