Tottenham to table €70m+ bid for Savinho after Eze blow

Tottenham Hotspur are preparing to raise their offer for Manchester City winger Savinho to over €70m following their failure to land Eberechi Eze.
Eze is now closing in on a £67.5m move to Arsenal.
According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Spurs will submit the improved bid after Saturday’s meeting with City at the Etihad.
The club’s previous approaches for the Brazilian have been blocked, with City reluctant to sanction a sale despite growing interest.
Pep Guardiola confirmed Savinho will not feature at the weekend due to minor fitness issues, but insisted the 21-year-old remains central to City’s long-term plans.
Spurs, however, see him as a priority signing as manager Thomas Frank looks to bolster his attack following injuries to James Maddison and Dejan Kulusevski.
