According to the actress, the new ministry was created as a place where believers can come together for prayer, revival, spiritual growth and an experience of the “raw power, purity, and presence of God.”

Tonto Dikeh explains vision behind new fellowship

The fellowship is founded on Mark 2:22, a biblical passage about new wine and old wineskins.

NWPT said its vision is to promote a global awakening of consecrated believers who will operate in God’s presence and contribute to transforming nations.

The organisation listed its mission as building an interdenominational altar of prayer and revival, providing apostolic training, equipping believers, activating spiritual gifts and promoting soul winning.

It also identified four core values under the acronym FIRE: Flame of Intercession, Intimacy and Consecration, Revival and Soul Winning, and Empowerment through Deliverance and Healing.

NWPT sets Friday meetings in Abuja

The fellowship clarified that it is “not a church” but “an intense gathering” of people committed to the purposes of God.

Its welcome message urged members to remain committed to prayer, connect with the fellowship and pursue “the secret place”.

NWPT is scheduled to hold its fellowship meetings every Friday at 6 p.m. in Jabi, Abuja.

The launch marks another public step in Dikeh’s growing involvement in Christian ministry, as she combines her entertainment background with her stated religious calling.
