A 33-year-old Nigerian lady has taken to social media to share her experience after being mistaken for a teenager, despite being a mother.

In a viral video, she expressed disbelief and hurt over the comment.

In the video, the young woman, who is a mother, revealed that someone recently asked her if she was 15 years old.

According to her, she was shocked by the remark and made it clear she is far older than that.

“Today, someone asked if I was up to 15 years old. I’m not 15 years. I’ve got a daughter and I’ll be 33 years this year,” she said.

Criticism Over Hairstyle

The post prompted some social media users to comment on her youthful appearance.

One user suggested her hairstyle made her look like a child and questioned her maturity;

“Take a very good look at yourself. Is your hairstyle not looking childish? Why won’t you behave like a child when you deprived yourself of childhood? Don’t just come up with that excuse. You had your daughter when you were 18. If you had a baby at 18, there’s every possibility you started knàcking as an underage.”

The woman, identified as @RevenuesBoost, swiftly responded to the criticism, defending her appearance:

“Just rest! I naturally look like this, hairstyle or not. It’s one of the reasons my husband married me. Thank God my husband has the same young look.”
