“Today is wedding, but I ran away” – Lady boasts, shares shocking reasons

A Nigerian lady has gone viral online after sharing a shocking confession about her wedding day and the events that led up to it.

In a now-viral video shared on TikTok by a user named @adetutuifemi, she revealed that she was meant to get married today but chose not to show up after series of emotional setbacks in the relationship.

In her words, she said:

“Today is my wedding but I did not go to the wedding. He broke up with me and later came back to beg. We did an introduction because my family asked me to bring a man.”

The woman explained that family pressure pushed her to continue with the relationship despite unresolved issues.

Although the traditional introduction was done, she admitted she was never fully convinced about the marriage.

On the wedding day, she reportedly left Lagos for Kaduna, choosing her peace over family perssure.

She added that anyone looking for a husband could find him in Lagos.

One user wrote that it is better to cancel a wedding than enter a marriage filled with regret.
