Tinubu’s 2027 campaign allegedly kicks off with plantain chips

The President of Nigeria, Bola Tinubu, has allegedly begun his 2027 campaign as a video showing plantain chips and sachets branded with his image and the words “Door 2 Door, Jagaban for 2027” surfaced online.

The video was shared on a popular social media platform, X (formerly Twitter), by user @ChuksEricE.

In the clip, several sachets and a large jar of plantain chips are seen, all carrying the President’s picture along with the campaign slogan.

A man, believed to be the owner of the chips factory, is heard in the video clarifying that he is not campaigning for the President, stating that he only took on the branding job as a contractor.

The video has since sparked reactions, with many Nigerians taking to the comment section to express their views on the possible early campaign move.
