Timini Egbuson is a Nigerian film actor and media figure. He is recognized for his performances in the popular TV series Tinsel and the highest-grossing 2023 film A Tribe Called Judah.
Timini Egbuson Biography
Timini Egbuson was born on June 10, 1987, in Bayelsa, Nigeria. He is the younger sibling of actress Dakore Akande. He received his primary education at Greenspring Montessori, The Afro School, and St. Catherine’s in Lagos, Nigeria. He then went to Adebayo Mokuolu College in Lagos to earn his SSCE Certificate. He studied Psychology at the University of Lagos and graduated in 2011.
Career
He began his acting career in 2010 with M-Net’s soap drama Tinsel. Timini received Best Actor in a Drama at the AMVCAs in 2020 for his portrayal in Elevator Baby.
In April 2020, he joined actors Jemima Osunde, Nick Mutuma, and Lerato Walaza, as well as actors from Kenya, South Africa, Nigeria, and the Ivory Coast, to help stop the spread of COVID-19. It was accomplished through a 60-part miniseries of MTV Shuga, which was launched to raise awareness in the global struggle to flatten the COVID-19 curve.
