A Nigerian lady who refused to send ₦2,000 to her elder brother has shared the heartbreaking aftermath, leaving social media buzzing.

Identified as @nobod3yyyy on X, formerly Twitter, the lady disclosed that she earned her first salary of ₦85,000 at 20.

However, her brother reached out to her for ₦2,000, which she declined to send.

According to the X user, she had ₦41,000 in her bank account and was saving for an iPhone 11 because her Android screen was faulty.

In a surprising twist, three days after she declined her brother’s request, her mother reached out to her through a phone call.

During the conversation, she was informed her brother fainted at a junction and was rushed to the hospital.

However, he was diagnosed with ulcer, exhaustion, and malaria, with treatment costs totaling ₦78,000, which she paid within seconds.

Detailing the aftermath of his recovery, she tweeted, “I bought that iPhone 11 for ₦240k. Posted it. Caption: “God did.My brother saw it. Never liked it. Never commented.  That night I checked our WhatsApp. He deleted my number from his bio. I had money. I lost my blood.₦2k didn’t break us. Pride did”.
