“Those words cost him his life”- Heartbroken lady shares how her uncle lost his life to bandits
A Nigerian lady recounts how bandits took her brother’s life in a heartbreaking ordeal.
In a post on X, the lady shared that her uncle was kidnapped with his two sons while travelling to Lagos.
Lady Speaks On Uncle’s Tragic Passing
Identified as @oreofe-06 on X, the lady disclosed that the kidnappers demanded ₦11 million ransom, which was paid.
However, while in captivity, her uncle became thirsty and asked for water. In a tragic turn of events, his request led to an inquiry that cost him his life.
”One of the bandits immediately shot him in the head in front of his two sons. They then forced the boys to carry their father’s lifeless body through the forest”, She stated, recounting the heartbreaking incident.
Unexpected Scene Unfolds
Meanwhile, one son was killed. The other was freed. But her uncle and his son’s bodies are still with the kidnappers.
Reflecting on the tragic incident, she stated, “The tragedy shattered our family, and my uncle’s wife has never truly recovered from the trauma. Some wounds never heal, they simply become a part of those left behind.May God grant them eternal rest and continue to comfort everyone they left behind. May Nigeria never happen to you”.
