“They raided my apartment, but I fell…” – Man makes shocking confession about finding love in EFCC custody

A Nigerian man has captured the attention of social media users after sharing a surprising love story that started during an EFCC raid.

In a viral video shared on X (formerly Twitter), he revealed that operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) raided his apartment on January 21 and took him in for questioning.

But instead of focusing on the stress of the situation, he revealed that something, or rather someone—else caught his attention.

In his words, he said:

“If you noticed I barb my hair, E get some kind thing wey go do you, you go first barb your hair make you fit dey see well.”

He went on to describe a female officer who had stood near his door before he was taken away. He described her as dark-skinned, of average height, beautiful, and curvy.

He added that he had to cooperate quickly just so he could be taken along with her.

Even while at the EFCC office, he said he couldn’t stop thinking about her.

“There were days when I didn’t see sunlight, but it was really her brake light I wanted to see. The nights were hot, but she was hotter,” he added.

In a surprising twist, he admitted that he now feels “so much love” for the EFCC and hopes the officer sees his video so they can reconnect.

The post quickly went viral, with Nigerians reacting to both his humour and boldness.

Some called it the funniest EFCC story they’ve ever heard, while others remarked that love truly finds people in the most unexpected places.
