“They don’t call me back after our first date” — 40-year-old single lady cries out, says she needs a husband
A 40-year-old lady has sparked reactions on social media after opening up about her struggles with finding a life partner despite receiving attention from men.
In a viral video, the woman revealed that although men regularly ask her out on dates, the relationships never progress beyond the first meeting.
According to her, the men usually stop communicating after the date, leaving her confused and disappointed.
Says men stop calling after the first date
Speaking in the video as she washed her face and legs while preparing to go for another date, she explained that she is unmarried, has no children, and is still searching for a husband.
She said: “I am 40 years old, I’m not married, I don’t have kids and I’m single. It’s not as if husbands are not coming, they are coming.
“But the thing is that whenever they ask me out on a date and I agree to go with them, immediately I come back from that date, they don’t call me back and if I try calling them or texting them, they don’t reply or call me back.”
The woman disclosed that she was preparing for another date and hoped the outcome would be different from her previous experiences.
Determined to make the relationship work
Expressing her determination, she said she would no longer wait for the man to contact her after the date. Instead, she planned to take the initiative herself.
In her words: “So today I’m going for another date and if I come back I don’t even care whether he calls me because I’m going to be the one to call him.
“You see this date, it must work because at this age I need to rush after men.”
The video has generated widespread reactions online, with many social media users sharing differing opinions.
While some encouraged her to remain hopeful and commended her honesty, others advised her to reflect on what might be causing the repeated lack of follow-up after her dates.
