A Nigerian lady’s post about her friend receiving money from an anonymous sender has sparked buzz online.
The lady, identified with the X handle @MeetIjeoma, revealed that her friend received 30 million naira from an anonymous sender on April 6, 2025.

Shortly after, a man called her friend, claiming an erroneous transaction.
Sharing details of the phone call, @MeetIjeoma narrated, ” A strange number called him saying it was a mistake and that they would send him an account to transfer the money back”.
Meanwhile, her friend insisted on going to the bank with the man to process the refund.
In a shocking twist, the man refused, leaving her friend confused and scared.
”My friend told the man to come and meet him so they could go to the bank together.Since yesterday, the man hasn’t agreed and my friend hasn’t moved either.The money is still in his account.He is scared and confused on his next move”, The tweet reads.
