Nigerian man who was sued by Nathaniel Bassey refuses to apologize, claiming he merely stated an opinion which he believes is not a crime.

The young man who was one of the internet users who claimed Mercy Chinwo’s son looks a lot like Minister Nathaniel Bassey.

This prompted a lawsuit from the gospel singer who petitioned the police to arrest all those involved.

While some of them have shown remorse, this particular young man claims he did not commit any crime that he has to apologize for.

He states that he only shared an opinion, which he believes is the truth as over 200 million Nigerians can say the same.

This man claims he did not advocate for a DNA test unlike his other counterparts, he just said the baby’s face looked like Nathaniel Bassey.

Furthermore, he explained that he was not the one who shared the pictures online, but like every other online user, he stated his two cents on the matter.
