The lord will do new thing for Nigeria, everyone will rejoice in 2026 – Bishop Adegbite

Bishop Professor Stephen Adegbite, the Executive Secretary of the Nigerian Christian Pilgrim Commission (NCPC), has expressed confidence that Nigeria will witness peace and prosperity in the new year.

Adegbite shared the optimism in his New Year message, saying the country is set for a positive turnaround through divine intervention.

He declared, “The Lord will do a new thing for Nigeria, and everyone will see it and rejoice.”

Peace Key to National Progress

The NCPC boss stressed that peace remains the foundation of national development.

According to him, no meaningful progress can be achieved in the absence of peace across the country.

He explained that peace creates the right environment for unity, economic growth, and national stability.

Adegbite added that peace is the pathway to prosperity, noting that Nigeria is positioned to move “forward ever, backward never.”

Support for Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda

Adegbite urged Nigerians to continue praying for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and his administration.

He called on citizens to support policies and programmes of government, particularly the Renewed Hope Agenda.

According to him, collective prayers and support are essential for the successful transformation of the nation.

Pilgrims Pray for Nigeria in Holy Land

The NCPC Executive Secretary revealed that the first batch of Christian pilgrims has already departed for the Holy Land.

He said the pilgrims are offering prayers for Nigeria’s peace, unity, and prosperity.

Adegbite noted that the prayers reflect the commission’s commitment to national progress and spiritual support.

New Year Goodwill Message

He extended his goodwill messages to President Tinubu, the Vice President, and the First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu.

Adegbite also wished all Nigerians a peaceful, prosperous, and fulfilling New Year.

He expressed hope that the year will usher in visible positive change for the country.
