Team Blue Rising finished second, while Team Drogba took third. Pre-race favourites Team Rafa and Team Brady, however, failed to make the podium.

The Lagos GP, held on October 5–6 at Victoria Island, showcased the fusion of elite racing, clean energy innovation, and environmental advocacy that defines the world’s first all-electric powerboat series.

Sanwo-Olu praises Lagos’ global milestone

Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu hailed the event as a milestone for Nigeria’s commercial capital, stating its significance beyond sport.

“Hosting the E1 Grand Prix is not just about sport. It is about innovation, environmental responsibility, and putting Lagos on the global map for future-focused development,” Sanwo-Olu said after the final race.
