A Nigerian man who purchased ₦20,000 worth of shares in Fidelity Bank in 2018 has cried out over his payout.
In a widely circulated video, he disclosed that he had not followed up on the shares until recently.

Man Buys ₦20,000 In 2018
According to the elderly man, he visited Fidelity Bank on September 14, 2026, to inquire about the dividends on the shares.
However, he was given a statement which showed that the total dividends accrued over a decade amounted to ₦5,332.
Meanwhile, he was informed that the shares are worth ₦20,000.
The man further stated that if he had invested the money in purchasing land, the property would currently be worth millions of naira.
Urging Fidelity Bank, he sought clarity on how the money was utilized.
