Super Eagles open Cairo camp ahead of Egypt friendly

The Super Eagles have officially opened their training camp in Cairo as preparations intensify for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations.
According to team media officer Promise Efoghe, the Nigerian delegation is camped at the Renaissance Hotel in Cairo.
Head coach Eric Sékou Chelle, his assistants and the entire backroom staff are already on ground as preparations get underway.

Early arrivals boost camp numbers
Goalkeeper Francis Uzoho is among the first players to report for duty.
The Omonia Nicosia shot-stopper arrived at the team’s base around 2:00am on Sunday, with more players expected to join in the coming days.
Egypt friendly confirmed
As part of their build-up, the Super Eagles will face hosts Egypt in an international friendly on Tuesday at the Cairo International Stadium.
The fixture is designed to sharpen the squad ahead of their AFCON 2025 opener against Tanzania on December 23.
