“Stop the negativity” – Funke Akindele shuts down reports of snubbing Pasuma at event

Nigerian filmmaker and actress Funke Akindele has reacted to reports claiming she snubbed Fuji music star Pasuma at a recent event.
The report surfaced after a tweep shared a video from Faithia Williams’ 55th birthday party, suggesting that the actress ignored the Fuji singer during the event.
Taking to her X (formerly Twitter), she wrote:
“Snub? Hell no. Stop the negativity, please. I saw him, greeted him, danced with him. Pasuma is my Egbon. Please you all should stop this evil.”
Funke Akindele dismissed the claims, insisting she greeted and danced with Pasuma, adding that he is her senior and there was no form of disrespect involved.
She also took to her page to repost a video showing the moment they interacted, questioning why false reports were being spread online.
“I tire o. Why nau? Peace. God pass them,” she further wrote.
Recall that earlier this month, at Iyabo Ojo’s movie premiere, Funke had also been involved in a viral moment involving Toyin Abraham.
In the clip, Funke was seen seated with Iyabo Ojo when Toyin walked over to greet them. The video sparked reactions online after Funke appeared not to acknowledge Toyin’s greeting.
The clarification comes amid ongoing social media debates, as the actress continues to face scrutiny over viral clips from different events.
