“Stop giving birth to children you can’t cater for!” — Lady blast parents who can’t do anything to feed their kids
A woman has sparked conversation online after recounting the extreme lengths she went to in order to care for her child, while warning others against bringing children into the world without the means to support them.
Lady says she did everything to make sure her child eats
The lady shared that she sold at night markets in Iyana Paja , hawked goods, washed leftover food, worked for a mineral company, farmed in her village for minimal pay, and taught in a school for N5,000 monthly, all to provide for her child.
“Parents, if you are ready to bring a child into this world but not ready to walk for them, stop having kids to make them suffer,” she said.
“Work is hard, it’s stressful, but if you are unwilling to put in the effort, don’t expect others to bear your responsibility. I have seen children go hungry because parents refuse to work for them, and it breaks my heart.”
Lady disapprove the begging act of parents with kids
She continued, stressing the mental and financial toll of parenting without preparation: “Children’s suffering is too much. Begging, begging, begging—this is not life. Go work. Go find a way to earn. Don’t bring children into this world to starve and suffer.”
Her remarks drew strong support on social media, with users praising her candor.
One commenter said, “I think one of the greatest crimes to humanity is bringing kids into the world when you cannot give them a soft landing.”
