A man has sparked debate online after insisting that a man cannot truly call himself masculine if he does not financially provide for his girlfriend or wife.

Speaking in a video that has gone viral, he emphasised the importance of men covering all expenses once they are financially able.
“You can’t call yourself a man if you’re not paying for everything. Yes, you pay for the date, you pay for the trip, her meals, her nails, her hair. Men who don’t like to hear this are not men. It’s not just about paying for dates or food, it’s about providing for everything. If you have it, provide,” he said.
He added that men who are not yet financially stable should focus on self-development, saving, and building themselves up before entering relationships.
“If you don’t have it, you should not be dating. Work on getting your account right, improving yourself. But if you have your life together, you should provide. A girlfriend or wife should not worry financially,” he emphasised.
