“Sometimes I ask if my husband forgot I’m working” – Wife reveals plan to surprise him with ₦2 million

A Nigerian wife has warmed hearts on social media after revealing how her husband continues to provide for her financially despite the fact that she works.

In a post shared online, the woman said her husband has never asked about her salary since she started working and still takes care of many of her expenses.

Wife shares husband’s gesture

According to her, her husband regularly sends her money, buys foodstuffs and clothes, and even pays for the mobile data she uses.

She added that whenever she spends her own money on household items, her husband refunds her.

She wrote:

“Ever since I started working, my husband has never asked me anything about my salary. He still sends me money all the time, buys foodstuffs, clothes, intact down to the data I use.

“Sometimes I ask myself if he forgets I’m working. If I buy anything in the house, he refunds me.

“And it’s not like he’s very rich o, we’re just comfortable.”

Woman plans to surprise husband

The woman further revealed that she has been saving half of her salary in a separate account and plans to give the money to her husband once it reaches ₦2 million.

She explained that the gesture is her way of appreciating him for his constant love and support.

“Now I divide my salary into 2 and put it in one of my accounts. Once it gets to ₦2 million, I want to give him for his business just to appreciate him.

“Please let your followers join me to pray for him.

“Thank you very much Obim,” she stated.
