“So much to say but…” – Dapper breaks silence after Shallipopi, Seyi Vibez called him out

Music executive Dapper Damm has finally responded to allegations of unpaid royalties and other financial disputes raised by Seyi Vibez, Shallipopi and some of his former artistes.

The development comes after the musicians publicly accused the music executive of financial misconduct and questioned the handling of their earnings and music catalogues.

Dapper Says Records Are With Authorities

Dapper addressed the allegations in a series of posts on X, saying he had nothing to hide and that relevant records had already been submitted to the appropriate authorities.

He wrote:

“I have nothing to hide. The records exist. The authorities have them. Let the process establish the truth.”

The music executive did not provide detailed explanations of the specific allegations in the post but maintained that the available records would help establish what actually happened.

‘No One Forced You to Leave’

Dapper also pushed back against claims made by his former artistes, accusing them of attempting to mislead the public with what he described as false narratives.

He insisted that the artistes voluntarily left and said his business had continued despite their departures.

“You chose to leave! No one forced you, and we are still fine without you! Move on! Stop acting obsessed!!!!!”

His response comes after Shallipopi alleged that Dapper withheld royalties from 46 songs and accused him of forging his signature on a 10-year distribution agreement.

Seyi Vibez also made his own allegations, claiming that money he earned was allegedly used to sign other artistes.

Despite the heated accusations, Dapper said he would not respond by exchanging insults with those involved.

He suggested that his passion for music had influenced his decision to remain measured in his response.

“So much to say, but so few ways to say it,” he wrote.
