Single mom celebrates graduation after being expelled and recalled to varsity

Twitter user identified by her handle as @shyprecious is in a celebratory mood as she graduates from the Federal University of Technology, Owerri (FUTO) after being expelled and subsequently recalled.

The lady took to the bird app to share a bit of her survival story as she narrated how she carried her son to classes on daily basis after a painful divorce.

According to her, she got expelled from the university after her course adviser accused her of beating him up because she turned down his romantic advances.

However, today she is ecstatic as she has finally graduated despite all odds.

In her words:

“Saw this picture today and I was crying like a baby.
Was carrying a baby to class everyday and fighting a bad divorce.
While at it, I got expelled.
My course adviser couldn’t get me to bed so he said that I beat him up.
I was a disaster at the time.
Look where I am now.”
