“Since you won’t do it, sleep outside” — Lady recounts abuse she suffered at 14 while pregnant

A lady has shared a deeply emotional account of abuse she allegedly suffered as a teenager, revealing how she was forced out into the cold while seven months pregnant and later subjected to physical violence by her partner.

Midnight ordeal in pregnancy

Recounting one of the incidents, the woman said she was asleep at midnight after a long day when she was suddenly woken up by the father of her child. According to her, he made a request which she declined due to exhaustion.

“I was seven months pregnant, tired and heavy with my child. When he woke me up, I gently said no because my body was already weak,” she said.

She alleged that her refusal led to an immediate and harsh reaction. “Before I could understand what was happening, I found myself outside the house. The last thing he said was, ‘Since you won’t do it, sleep outside,’” she added.

The woman said she remained outside throughout the night, describing the experience as both physically and emotionally traumatic.

Alleged assault and emotional trauma

In another incident, she recounted being physically assaulted after her partner returned home angry from an unrelated issue. “He started beating me with a belt. I was pregnant, holding my stomach and crying, praying nothing would happen to my baby,” she said.

She explained that the anger stemmed from his frustration over not finding another woman he had gone to see. According to her, the situation escalated simply because she had gone to bed before he returned.

Call for awareness

The woman revealed that she was only 14 years old at the time of the incidents, a detail that has drawn widespread concern online.

Her story has since sparked conversations around domestic violence, teenage pregnancy, and the need for stronger protection for vulnerable girls.
