A Nigerian man has recounted a 2022 incident that led him to quit attending church, which has got netizens talking.
In an X post, the man disclosed the identity of the church he worshipped before the incident.

According to him, he worshipped at Omega Ministry, where the incident unfolded during a sermon.
During the sermon, the clergyman spoke about poverty and singled him out as an example in front of the congregation.
As a result of the incident, he stopped attending church.
