“Show her your bank statement on the first date” – Lady gives controversial dating advice to men
A Nigerian lady has sparked conversations online after sharing an unusual piece of advice for men going on first dates.
According to her, men often put in effort to impress women by dressing well and smelling nice, but she believes there is one more thing that can “seal the deal.”
“When a guy is about to go on a first date with a girl he really likes, he puts in so much effort to look good and smell nice because he wants to impress her. But there’s one more thing that can seal the deal in 2026,” she said.
She further advised that men should go as far as printing out their bank statements before going on a date, describing it as a way to be transparent about their financial status.
The lady added that presenting such information early can help both parties decide quickly if the relationship is worth pursuing.
“Go to your email, check your bank statement for the past six to nine months, print it out, and take it along. When she asks what you do, show her your statement. If she likes what she sees, the relationship can start. If not, you both can go your separate ways. It will save you time and energy,” she added.
