During the 2015 and 2016 election cycles, he worked on the presidential campaign of famous neurosurgeon Dr. Ben Carson as the faith coalitions advisor, tasked with identifying and establishing coalitions within the faith community, which would become Dr Carson’s biggest source of support. As a result, Dr Carson was the only contender to outperform President Trump in surveys for several weeks throughout the 2016 election cycle.
In addition to his work on political campaigns, he worked as an opposition researcher for America Rising, LLC, where he researched various Republican candidates for Congress and the United States Senate.
Aside from politics, he worked with the Florida-based non-profit Lauren’s Kids, which promotes awareness of child sexual assault.
