A Nigerian lady has called out MTN over the money deducted from her mother’s account, leaving netizens in disbelief.

‎The lady, identified as @ButterBibi on X, formerly Twitter, disclosed that over ₦70,000 was deducted from her mother’s account.

‎Subsequently, her mother visited the bank to lodge a complaint and was informed that her former MTN number had been reassigned to an individual responsible for the deduction from her account.

‎Seeking clarity on the situation, she inquired if the money could be recovered.

‎”I don’t understand? If you misplace a number and they reassign it to another person, does that mean the person has access to all your personal details?.What is going on with MTN?. Can her money be recovered?”, Her tweet reads.
