“She watched him grow…” – Lady fumes over best friend’s relationship with her 20-year-old brother
A Nigerian lady has shared her shock after discovering that her longtime friend of 27 years is secretly dating her younger brother.
According to her, the friendship began in their neighborhood and grew through university, making the betrayal even harder to swallow.
She revealed that her younger brother, now earning money, apparently caught her friend’s attention when he visited her at school, and she began subtly pursuing him behind her back.
“She started telling him, ‘You’re so grown oo, give me your number so I can be viewing your status.’ I wasn’t even suspecting anything because this boy is just 20 years.
Behind my back, these two started seeing each other and kn@cking. At the time, she would be with me and say she wanted to go and see someone, not knowing it was my brother,” she said.
The truth, however, came out when she checked her friend’s phone. A picture revealed the two of them together at her brother’s place.
When confronted, her brother claimed it was the friend who “brought herself” to him. Although furious, she chose to leave them to continue their relationship.
Things reportedly took another turn when her friend later returned with a swollen face one day after engaging in a fight with him, claiming her younger brother had cheated on her, despite insisting she was the only one he was dating.
The incident has sparked reactions online. One user wrote, “I can’t believe your friend would do this after 27 years!” Another added, “Age is not the only issue; trust matters.”
