“She took everything” – Man takes ₦8M loan for girlfriend to travel overseas, ends up in regret

A man who sponsored his girlfriend to Australia has been left heartbroken after she dumped him for another man.

The heartbreaking incident was shared by @freakin-snow, a user on the microblogging platform, X (formerly Twitter).

According to the X user, they had been in a 4-year relationship, while the lady insisted on relocating overseas.

However, the man sold his car and  and took an ₦8 million loan to finance her trip.

“They planned he sponsors her when she gets there she will bring him over. The guy sold his car, some of his properties and took out a loan of 8 million from loan company to finance her movement”,The tweet reads in part.

Upon arriving in Australia a few months later, she fell in love with another man and told her boyfriend, who sponsored her trip, to move on, citing the long-distance relationship.

She also vowed to repay him after graduating, leaving him in regret and depression.

Sharing further details about the heartbreaking incident, @freakin-snow narrated, “He later found out she’d moved on via a friend’s IG post. He’s now full of regrets and depressed because she took everything he had”.

However, details of the lady or her new lover weren’t disclosed in the tweet, which has left the X platform buzzing.
