“She told me two days before, I even picked her Asoebi” – Man recounts painful discovery of ex’s secret wedding

A Nigerian man has shared a heartbreaking experience after discovering that his ex secretly planned her wedding behind his back.

According to a post shared on TikTok by a user identified as @Otunba_Deledaricco , the shocking revelation came just two days before the wedding, despite the fact that she had recently spent time with him without any issues.

In his words, he wrote:

“Life didn’t end when my ex informed me about her wedding just two days to the wedding. Mind you, she was in my place a week before the wedding and spent two days with me — no quarrels, no fights, no misunderstanding.”

He further revealed that the situation became even more painful when he realised he had unknowingly contributed to the wedding preparations.

The man explained that the Asoebi worn by the bridal party was something he had helped her choose, believing it was meant for her business.

“And life didn’t really end when I found out that the cloth the Asoebi ladies wore during the wedding was the same material I followed her to the market to buy. She told me it was for her customers because she sells textile materials. I was actually the one who picked the material,” he added.
