‎A Nigerian lady who followed  her friend’s  advice has shared details of the heartbreaking aftermath

‎The lady, identified as @ARIAREIGN180683 on X (formerly Twitter), shared that she met a guy who hails from Benin, the capital city of Edo state.

‎According to the lady, the guy took her on dates, splashed millions of Naira shopping, barely two months after meeting at a pool party.

‎However, he invited her to his house where she met his mother, who gifted her a jewellery

‎” His mom was around that day. Surprisingly  she welcomed  me with open arms,she even cooked for me,she asked me to join her in the kitchen  but didn’t  let me touch anything  since I was a guest. We ate and laughed  ,she even gifted me her favorite  jewelry”, The tweet reads in part.

However, the guy asked her out, while her best friend advised her not to be in a relationship with Benin boys.

‎Meanwhile, her friend’s current boyfriend hails from Benin, leaving her hurt and regretful.

‎”And that my friend  is now dating  a benin guy they’ve been dating  for a year now even did anniversary. She deceived me I feel so hurt.But I can’t  reach out coz my pride wont let me“, She stated.
