A Nigerian woman’s post detailing an unexpected encounter with her mother-in-law has grabbed attention online.
In a now-viral post , the woman identifed as @Blessedstiches on X, revealed that after welcoming her baby last year, her mother-in-law paid a 2-week visit.
Woman Speaks On Mother-in-law’s Visit
However, on the third day of her mother-in-law’s visit, she woke up to her baby crying in the sitting room.
Meanwhile, she rushed out and met her mother-in-law carrying the baby and singing an old song.
Eventually, the baby dozed off while her mother-in-law urged her return to fall back asleep.
Mother-In-Law Plays Pivotal Responsibility
According to the X user, her mother-in-law took care of the baby every night throughout the visit.
She had dreaded her mother-in-law’s 2-week stay, but it ended up changing everything.
”I used to be afraid of my mother-in-law visiting, but that trip changed everything. Now, whenever I need help with the children, she’s the first person I call”, She added.
