The incident was shared by @TheBlackoreee on X (formerly Twitter) in the comment section of a tweet by Nollywood actress, Bolaji Ogunmola who shared similar incident.

According to @TheBlackoreee, the incident occurred last year after his friend renovated her apartment and had to vacate due to inability to pay the new rent.

“‎One of my friend experienced this particular thing last year, it’s really unfair because she couldn’t keep up with the payment she had to pack out”, He tweeted.

In her tweet, which has garnered over 330k views, Bolaji Ogunmola shared that the landlord doubled the rent of a tenant after the apartment was renovated.

“You see that renting of apartments and fixing it up with double of the rent and then your landlord decides on increasing the house rent or you pack out!!! Wickedness of the highest level. God abeg” Her tweet reads.
