“She blocked me after Seyi Tinubu gave me ₦20m” – Sarah Martins speaks on fallout with King Mitchy amid VDM donation drama

Nollywood actress Sarah Martins has opened up about her fallout with embattled influencer King Mitchy amid her ongoing online donation controversy with activist VeryDarkMan.
In a lengthy Instagram post, Sarah recalled how Mitchy blocked her on all platforms after Seyi Tinubu and his friends donated N20 million to support her NGO during the KAI incident.
According to Sarah, Mitchy had followed her weeks before the incident and even praised her charity efforts publicly.
But things allegedly changed after the financial support came in.
“Yes, King Mitchy blocked me everywhere immediately S.T. extended his philanthropic support to my NGO during the KAI incident,” she wrote.
She explained that when KAI operatives allegedly spilt hot oil on her while she was cooking for charity, Tinubu and his friends stepped in with N20m to help her secure a better location to continue her work.
Sarah also recounted an awkward encounter at actress Toyin Abraham’s movie premiere, where she said Mitchy looked her up and down, ignored her greeting, and walked away.
“I felt extremely embarrassed, but I kept my cool,” she said, noting that she chose not to hold grudges.
Despite the tension, Sarah appealed to Nigerians to forgive Mitchy, suggesting that depression may be behind her recent behaviour.
This follows Mitchy’s criticism of VeryDarkMan for allegedly holding onto NGO donations for years without completing any visible projects.
In response, Mitchy claimed she successfully renovated a school within six days and went on to challenge VeryDarkMan to provide ₦50 million to renovate four schools, further intensifying the social media showdown.
